Osteopathy focuses on the mobility and cohesion of all tissues in the body. As an osteopath, I specialise in assessing and treating this mobility to relieve or eliminate physical complaints such as back pain, neck pain, headaches or abdominal pain.
Think of back pain that persists for years, when the cause is actually impaired bowel function. Or stiff feet that cause complaints in the knees or lower back. Our body is a whole: bones, muscles, joints, organs and nerves are constantly connected and influence each other. To function properly, each tissue needs sufficient room for movement.
When this mobility is restricted, the body's self-healing ability can become disrupted. By eliminating these limitations, I help your body regain balance and support the natural healing process.
We look for the cause of your symptoms and work towards a lasting recovery. So you can move freely again and enjoy a healthy, pain-free life.

My name is Jerôme Rousseau and I am a passionate osteopath with a background in physiotherapy.
After obtaining my bachelor's degree in physiotherapy, I worked as a sports physiotherapist for seven years with great enthusiasm and dedication.
Although I got satisfaction from helping people, I realized that something was missing.
I wanted to look beyond symptoms and pay more attention to the underlying causes of complaints.
I found that depth and holistic approach within osteopathy.
Within osteopathy, we often see that complaints are interrelated. The body works as a whole, so problems in one place can cause complaints in another place. Perhaps you recognise yourself in several complaints or your specific complaint is not listed. Are you curious what I can do for you? Feel free to contact me for personal advice or to book an appointment. I will be happy to help you on your way to recovery and better health.
Osteopathy focuses on restoring the body by stimulating its self-healing capacity. During treatment, the osteopath takes extensive time to listen to the patient's complaints and medical history. This information is essential to get a good picture of the situation and to identify possible underlying causes of the complaints.
Next, the whole body is examined, not just the area where the complaints manifest. This is done because complaints often originate in another region of the body. In our approach, we focus on three biological systems that are closely linked:
This includes the musculoskeletal system, including bones, muscles and joints.
This contains the internal organs, along with the circulatory and lymphatic systems.
This system includes the nervous system and the circulation of cerebrospinal fluid.
